I’m a real sweet tooth, so I thought of making a list of to-die for desserts that I’ve had the pleasure of sampling. 

10. Damaso's Velvety White cheesecake: what makes this so special is the dayap-calamansi marmalade on top.  A bit sour, tapos creamy ‘yung base.  Mmm.

9. Classic Confections' Chocolate Oblivion: I like the slight crunch that the walnut praline adds to the rich and moist cake.

8. Secret Recipes'' cappuccino cheesecake: a rich baked cheesecake which manages to avoid being cloying.

7. Herran Bakery's brazo de mercedes: whenever I visit my friend who lives in Sta. Ana, I make sure to get one of these; I love the yema center which doesn''t taste of extenders, but is not too sweet at the same time

6. Goldilocks'  sansrival: another very sinful cake, I just reason at least nawo-work out ''yung jaw ko when I eat it because the meringue is very chewy =)

5. Sugarhouse''s turtle pie: again because of the yummy caramel (I''m starting to see a pattern here haha), plus they''re very generous with the nuts kasi 

4. Estrell's caramel cake: I''ve tasted other caramel cakes but they really can''t compete with the texture and taste of this cake''s icing (it''s thick and not too sweet), the buttercream flowers that top the cakes aren''t bad too—kaya siguro staple ito sa mga press con and other showbiz events

3. Starbucks' chocolate fudge cake: a simple moist chocolate cake with fudge icing; what makes it fabulous is the fact that you can actually taste the condensed milk in the very think icing; as close to home-baked as you can get

2. Banapple's Banoffee Pie which is chocful of bananas, chocolate and caramel, yum!

1. Chocolat''s tiramisu!  Discovered this one Christmas because my mom got a whole cake as a gift, and yes, ako lang halos ang umubos (but it did take me more than 1 week, so give me a break.  Defensive ba?  haha).  Too bad, sa Mall of Asia saka SM North lang meron nito, I think.

Whew, now that’s done, parang biglang gusto kong mag-work out.  Teka, nakakataba bang mag-isip lang ng cake??
