Top 10: Local Junk Foods
There are days when I just want to give in to my craving for junk foods. Never mind the cholesterol they’d be giving me. The following is a list of what I usually buy whenever I need that unhealthy-food-fix.

7. Curly Tops by Ricoa- brings back childhood memories
6. Goya Dark Chocolate- inexpensive alternative to the imported dark ones

Top 10: Mouthwatering Cakes
I’m a real sweet tooth, so I thought of making a list of to-die for desserts that I’ve had the pleasure of sampling.
10. Damaso's Velvety White cheesecake: what makes this so special is the dayap-calamansi marmalade on top. A bit sour, tapos creamy ‘yung base. Mmm.
9. Classic Confections' Chocolate Oblivion: I like the slight crunch that the walnut praline adds to the rich and moist cake.
8. Secret Recipes'' cappuccino cheesecake: a rich baked cheesecake which manages to avoid being cloying.
7. Herran Bakery's brazo de mercedes: whenever I visit my friend who lives in Sta. Ana, I make sure to get one of these; I love the yema center which doesn''t taste of extenders, but is not too sweet at the same time
6. Goldilocks' sansrival: another very sinful cake, I just reason at least nawo-work out ''yung jaw ko when I eat it because the meringue is very chewy =)

Easy Guide to What’s Allowed and What’s Banned on Airplanes
Trying to pack for a trip which includes air travel can be very stressful in itself, but with the new safety restrictions and the ever-changing admissibility status of fresh and packaged food items and things can get very confusing. Here is a guide that would hopefully answer most of your packing-related quandries.
GENERAL TIPS
• For Carry On Baggage: travelers are allowed travel-sized toiletries (3 ounces or less) that fit in 1 quart-size clear plastic, ziplock bag. Liquids, including alcohol purchased after clearing the security checkpoint are permitted aboard the aircraft.
• Prescription medicines must have labels matching the passenger’s name. Medications, breast milk, baby formula and food are allowed to exceed 3 ounces but must be declared for inspection at the checkpoint.
• All food must go through the x-ray machine. Do not bring food to the security checkpoint unwrapped. All food must be wrapped or in a container.
• Any sharp objects in checked baggage should be sheathed or securely wrapped to prevent injury to baggage handlers and security screeners.

Checklist: Things to Buy for Your Baby
The moment I realized I was pregnant, one of the things I was so excited to do was to shop for the baby. But it was only until I was 7 months pregnant that my husband and I made our first purchase for the baby – tie-side shirts. Being obsessed with lists, I asked family and friends for suggestions as to what to buy for the baby lest I get carried away and spend a fortune for things we don’t actually need.
Checklist: Packing For The Beach
There’s a pair of large sunglasses with mirror lenses that has been sitting on my dresser for ages now. No, they’re not from the ‘80s, as you might think, but from a trip to Palawan. I was already on the plane when I realized that I forgot my trusty pair of shades at home. I knew I wouldn’t enjoy strolling on the beach with the sun glaring at me mercilessly, so I grit my teeth and handed the smiling flight attendant some of my hard-earned money for the only available kind of sunglasses they had.', 'After that experience, I swore I wouldn’t let myself forget something so essential for a beach outing, so I listed down every item in my bag as I unpacked. This list proved to be so helpful that I’m posting it here, with other items that some of you might need. Here’s to your fun and worry-free trips!
