Father's Day Gift Suggestions
I used to be the type who’d plan ahead and buy gifts months before a special occasion. Back when I was single, I’d go Christmas shopping as early as August. If I’m too busy and end up buying by the beginning of September, I get stressed out. I feel like I’m already panic-buying.
But now that I’m a full-time mom, buying and packing gifts hours before a party has become a common practice. I am guilty of not being able to give my mom a decent birthday gift this year, although I did give her around 3 nice presents on Mothers Day. Fathers Day is only a few days away and although I have gift ideas in mind, I haven’t really gone out to actually purchase anything. But let me share with you what I think are good gifts for the man of the house.
10. Gadgets – laptop, Ipod, Iphone, mp4, flash disk, card reader, digicam, etc.
9. Magazine Subscriptions – Good investments would be Readers Digest, Men’s Health, Time and Newsweek.n
8. Pampering – a facial, full-body massage, foot massage, paraphin hand treatment.\r\n
7. DVDs – full set of his favorite TV series
6. Personal effects - Shave balm, after shave lotion, cologne, breath spray.
5. Photobook – of your travels or photos taken during the past few months.
4. A new fluffy bath robe – dads never really admit they want a bath robe even if they look forward to using your gift once they’ve opened the gift box.
3. Sling bag – my husband personally loves it when I buy him these totes.
2. Tickets – to his favorite game, or to get out of the city for the weekend
1. Wrist Watch – your dad will surely remember how thoughtful you are each time he needs a timecheck.
