1. Keep the camera out of extreme heat/cold and direct sunlight.  Do not use it in extremely humid or dusty environments.
2. Do not point the camera at strong light sources for a prolonged time to avoid ruining the sensor.
3. Turn off the camera before disconnecting the power source or a cable, or removing the battery or memory card.
4. Keep the camera away from magnets to guard against damaged circuitry.
5. Never touch the lens directly with your fingers.  Put the lens cap back on when camera is not in use.
